OUR TEAM

Mark Thompson - Human Resources
Mark has over 20 years of operational and human resources management spanning across the UK and Canada.

Mark spent 15 years working in multiple management positions for one of the UK’s largest retail groups until 2005 when he relocated to Saskatchewan to take on the Human Resources Manager position for a large multi location heavy truck dealership serving Saskatchewan and beyond with 200+ employees.

During his time Mark worked successfully to assist Frontier in achieving long term strategic objectives through the implementation and management of initiative including HR policies and procedures, recruitment and selection, performance management processes, employee benefits and training.

A key part of the success meeting the challenge of filling the ongoing skilled worker shortage was through the company’s foreign recruitment program. Mark has been responsible for bringing more than 30 families into Saskatchewan, covering heavy duty mechanics, salesmen, parts people, drivers, bodymen and painters.

Joanne Cousins – Accounting & Administration
Joanne has over 15 years of accounting and administration experience and has recently received her designation as a Certified General Accountant.

Joanne was responsible for the financial reporting and many of the accounting and administrative processes for a large semi-truck dealership. This dealership has multiple locations consisting of numerous profit centers. She has developed and delivered specific financial reporting, conducted and supervised internal audits and analysis, and lead process improvement and conversion planning and implementation. However, the most rewarding part her career has been in providing support to the organizations’ management team in decision making and strategy implementation.

Focusing on taking a comprehensive approach to decision making through the production of reliable, relevant, timely and accurate financial reporting, the development of operational reporting and facilitating the budget preparation and its on-going review. This allows the development of sound business decisions ensuring that short-term decision making aligns with the organization’s mid- and long-term strategic goals.

Over the years she has worked with several new and existing business owners in the setting up their financial reporting structure, the development of new processes and policies, migration of business systems, and process improvement.

Percy Hoff Jr. - I.T
Percy Hoff Jr. comes to JPM Business Solutions with over 10 years of experience in both corporate I.T management and I.T consulting. Percy left his corporate management position in 2007 to join a consulting company to round out his skill set. In 2009 he took the step of going into business on his own before partnering with Mark and Joanne to form JPM.

This experience is supported by a range of qualifications, including B.S. IT (Bachelor of Science I.T), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and VCP (VMware Certified Professional).

Percy’s strength comes from his astute business acumen and an ability to clearly communicate with users of all levels of technical capability. He effectively uses these skills to work with clients to simplify I.T and provide suitable long term solutions to their needs.
